I went to take off from a stop in my 08 caravan and the engine just revved. It revved up to about 4000 rpms and slammed into gear. Horrified I tried to get down the street but it was clear I had a serious problem. These caravans are known for bad transmissions. I was able to get it over to aamco thinking I truly was screwed. They got my vehicle in the shop for a free inspection without an appointment. While I was waiting and thinking about how the heck I was going to afford a major repair or maybe another car I was informed that I had a leaky axle seal and my transmission was low on fluid. I was informed of the possible damage of running it low on fluid. The guys made time to change my axle seal and service my transmission for a reasonable price. They were up front with me. They told me what the cause of my problem was and let me know the possible extent of the damage that could occur but didn't try to force my hand or pressure me to do any work I didn't need. I know I got a 16 or old vehicle with a quarter million miles on it and sooner or later it's gonna go but the guys at aamco made sure she lived another day! Thanks aamco
Eugene AAMCO is absolutely recommended The facility is clean and everyone there was smiling and happy while I was there. I felt like I was the most important person throughout the experience there! As a woman, it was very nice that the person I talked to spoke to me with respect. There was no "little lady" feeling! Need car repairs? They even have easy financing!
I have had the oportunity to visit the Eugene Aamco recently and was treated with respect while my automotive needs were taken care of in an efficient manner, kevin in the front office was both polite while Adam in the shop seemed verry knowledgable. I highly recomend Eugene Aamco
